Welome to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Red Lion, PA
Please Note Schedule Changes
Dear Members and Friends of St. Paul’s,
After almost three months of coronavirus shutdown our church will open again for worship. It happens Sunday, June 21 (and continues the rest of the summer) with one worship service at 10 AM in our spacious sanctuary.
If you plan to attend, wear your mask and distance yourselves in the pews. Of course, families may sit together.
The service will be shortened. There will be no children’s sermon, “Passing of the Peace” or offering. Plates will be set out at various locations for those who wish to give. The service will be recorded for our online viewers, so expect to see a camera set up in the front of the sanctuary.
Please know that you are not obligated to attend any services if you feel uncomfortable doing so or you are in the high risk category. Come when you feel comfortable. . For those who would rather not attend, the online service will still be recorded each Saturday and be available for viewing Sunday mornings.
- My Bible study on Revelation will resume on Tuesday, June 2, 7:00 PM in the Sunday school room. Please wear masks and spread out at the tables. This study only has a few more session until the book is finished.
- Midweek Prayer & Communion begins again on Wednesday, June 3, 7:00 PM in the Sunday school room. Please wear masks and spread out at the tables. Communion elements will not be distributed, but placed individually on each table.
- Sharon Funk is willing to restart her Beth Moore “Believing God “ study on Saturday, May 30 in the Sunday school room. Please call her at 717-422-3590 if you wish to participate. Masks and distancing required.
- The Scouts may use the fellowship hall for their gatherings as long as they follow the Stage Yellow guidelines.
The next community meal will be on July 13 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. This will be available as a carryout meal and can be picked up at the Preschool door in the alley next to Community Reach.
The cleaning staff will disinfect the used areas before the next scheduled event.
Please, if you feel the slightest bit unsure about attending any of these ministries, we understand. Do not come if you feel at risk. Come when you feel comfortable.
Thank you for the prayers and the monetary support you have given St. Paul’s during this difficult time. Pass this info to others who may not have a computer
